Gladewater is located 20 miles northwest of Longview on Highway 80. It is the "Antique Capital of East Texas."

Monte Carlo Community Home
Monte Carlo is a four-bedroom home for six adolescent young men functioning in the severe to moderate range
of mental retardation. Ages range from 12 to 22 in this wheelchair friendly environment. Residents attend local
schools or pre-vocational work center and are very active in community recreational activities, churches, and Special Olympics.

Tenery Community Home
Tenery is a four-bedroom home serving six adolescent young women functioning in the severe to mild ranges
of mental retardation. Ages range from 13 to 21 and residents must be ambulatory. Residents attend local schools
and are very active in community recreational activities, churches and Special Olympics.
